Advert description
I am a first-year medical student at the University of Manchester. Offering medicine admission support and tutoring in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry for GCSE and A-levels. At A levels I received 4 A*s in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and an EPQ.
Learning is not a one-size-fits-all situation. This is why I work with my students to establish a personalised revision timetable around their other commitments, I also help students explore how they learn best so each lesson is productive. Once this has been established I ensure my students have the resources they need to excel.
Helping you understand each individual topic is a fundamental part of my teaching. I couple this with teaching how to apply exam techniques in order to aid you in improving exam performance.
My interactive lessons will first involve answering any initial concerns or questions you may have on any topic, then we will go to the main topic for the session.
It is important that tutors should not leave their students feeling helpless in the time I do not see them. To solve this, when I provide practice questions throughout the week if there is any confusion I am happy to communicate throughout the week with the student.
I have found so much reward in being in teaching and mentoring positions for the last 7 years, especially when teaching students whose position I was just in. I understand how stressful exams can be and how much of a positive impact I can have on someone through guiding and sharing my experience.
I find so much joy in seeing others succeed, no matter what your idea of success is, I will go above and beyond to help you reach that level.
