Advert description
Prior to my doctoral studies, I served as a Lecturer in Mathematics at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh's top public engineering university. During this time, I delivered lectures to engineering students and actively contributed to institutional activities, demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence and institutional development.
My teaching experience spans diverse courses, including Differential and Integral Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Linear Algebra and Basic Statistics.
Additionally, I played a role in student counselling. In my role as a student counsellor, I had the privilege of guiding students through their academic and personal challenges. I helped them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals by offering support, guidance, and encouragement. This experience further strengthened my commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives and motivating them to succeed.
Furthermore, my experience in coordinating the distribution of mathematics courses across diverse engineering departments at BUET reflects my strategic planning and organisational skills.
Additionally, before BUET, I served as a Lecturer in Mathematics at United University (UIU) Bangladesh, teaching courses like Differential and Integral Calculus, Complex Variables, Coordinate Geometry and Vector Analysis, and Fourier Analysis to Business and Engineering students. This experience enhanced my adaptability and communication skills as I successfully catered to students from different disciplines.
What motivates me most in teaching is the chance to inspire students, spark their love for learning, and give them the tools they need to succeed both academically and beyond. I have always aimed to create a classroom where everyone feels valued, supported, and ready for a challenge.
My teaching style is all about inclusivity and ensuring every student, including those with disabilities, feels confident and motivated to succeed. I believe in using real-life examples and hands-on activities to show how what we are learning applies to the world around us. This helps keep students engaged and excited about learning.
I also make sure to give students constructive feedback and encouragement to help them reach their goals.
