Advert description
I have a master's degree in chemical engineering and I have been involved in a variety of R&D projects.
was part of an undergraduate team that received a grant of 1 million (INR) from Governement of India Innovation Growth Challenge 2019 for the innovation titled "CLeONs: High-efficiency contact lens coated oxygen nanosensors for eye clinics.
My undergraduate research project was done at Bio Invent Lab, where we focused on the application of nanotechnology and chemical engineering principles to solve complex biomedical problems related to ocular disease, cancer, and targeted drug delivery. My project was on the design of biosensors which involved synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles through the microemulsion method, with water etching to improve porosity, I had an opportunity to understand and work on various instruments like zeta sizer, microcentrifuges, centrifuges, Rotavap, column chromatography, lyophilizer and analyzed the results using analytical instruments like FTIR, SEM, etc.
I had a brief industrial exposure of 10 months at Syngene International, a pharma company which gave me an overview of pharmaceutical project management.
Please find the website link of our lab during my engineering research.
The principal investigator of the lab is Dr Sudhir Ranganath(MSc, PhD-NUS, Postdoc-Harvard-MIT, JNCASR)
My area of expertise was in various fields like nanotechnolgy, biomedical research and process simulation
I feel I can deliver quality lessons to high school/GCSE students with blend of theory and practical sessions.
Looking forward for students to connect for physics, chemistry, Maths lessons too.
