Violin and Piano teacher with Master degree and +20 years of experience providing lessons to children and adults

Advert description
I am a passionate Violinist who holds a Masters degree music, specialising in the Violin. With over 20 years experience as a Violin and Piano teacher ,my style is both clear and accessible.
I started playing the Violin at the age of 5 and studied at the National Music School, then at the Conservatory in Sofia, Bulgaria. I completed my Masters degree in Antwerp, Belgium.

I firmly believe that a teacher should be able to play the instrument they teach.My approach is based on the Eastern European system of education, which is characterised by intensive preparation, high discipline and respect for the teacher. In my teaching I combine this traditional approach with the freedom and flexibility of Western education. The result is intense training delivered in the most acceptable and entertaining way possible.

I work with all age groups and I believe that musical activities are extremely important for proper education and personal development.For adults, music is known to have positive effects as an antistress therapy, actively fighting against depressive states of mind and increasing concentration. These positive effects of music are well presented in music therapy texts.

When you play an instrument you become an active participant. To become an active participant you must learn to speak the musical language - the language without words.

In my own words;

"It's the Alchemy where you have to be in constant conversation to find the freedom of your own movement"

I will be your guide in learning this beautiful language and bring you along your own musical journey.
