As I have an engineering background I am quite proficient in mathematics(Basic maths,Algebra, geometry, pure maths, applied maths etc.I have given the in person tuition to a lot of students from Middle level to level 6.

As a math teacher, I focus on fostering deep conceptual understanding through a student-centered approach. I prioritize building connections between abstract concepts and real-world applications, ensuring students understand the "why" behind the math. My teaching methods emphasize active learning, with plenty of opportunities for collaboration, problem-solving, and discussions. I integrate group work, puzzles, and games to engage students and make math enjoyable.

I also practice differentiated instruction, recognizing that students have diverse learning styles and needs. I tailor my lessons to provide support for struggling learners, using scaffolding and multiple representations of concepts, while also offering enrichment for advanced students. Regular formative assessments allow me to adjust my teaching based on individual progress and challenges.

In my classroom, lessons are structured to gradually build upon prior knowledge. I start with warm-up activities, followed by direct instruction and guided practice, where students actively participate in solving problems. Independent practice gives students the opportunity to apply their skills, and I circulate the room to provide targeted support. I end each lesson with a class discussion to reinforce key ideas and use exit tickets to assess understanding.

With diverse teaching experiences across middle and high school levels, I’ve worked with students of varying abilities, including those in inclusive classrooms. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where all students feel confident in their ability to succeed in math.
