Science educator providing lessons to children of all ages

Advert description
Having been looking forward to an opportunity like this to work as a trained educator and a well baked teacher of Physics, it was with utmost delight I received this advert and hereby register my intent to make an impact in the subject area and my potential learner as a whole.

I am a graduate of Physics (Applied Geophysics) options, My teaching experience has spanned a cumulative period of more than four years basically in the teaching of Cambridge Advanced A level Physics and Mathematics, I am also a certified Microsoft innovative educator. I have presented students for both local and international exams and recorded remarkable outcomes.

On subject basis, I have been able to reposition their mindset on the tough nature of Physics in most schools have taught this was achieved through constant application of class demos and outside-the classroom experience, this concept allows students to learn by what they can see, feel and possible touch, a pragmatic departure from what it used to be in the past where students were restricted to odd descriptive way of learning. Students now see Physics as not just as a subject but a discipline that encompasses all other areas of life that also consolidates their knowledge of subjects like chemistry and mathematics.

For over three years or thereabout, have had to deal with students whose ability in the
subject calls for serious concern, a case point was in 2020 year 11 Physics student a class of 17 in which just three can be counted as seemingly ‘’A’’ students while others are below average in general performance as if my subjects was a victim of students having no where to go but rather picked Physics just to fulfil subject options. How did I go about making sure that this majority that I have are lifted above average? The year Science Exhibition(STEAM CLUB) changed the story! I prepared series of questionnaires and divided the students into groups led by high flyers among them; focus in depth group discussions exposed me to some realities about average performing students. They tend to learn faster when being allowed to say things the way they see it and corrected when off the pitch (giving instant feedback). This experience led me to what I have started no was ‘’Physics Support Lesson’’
