I am a passionate and approachable tutor with a strong background in Chemistry and Biology, and I’d love to help make it yours too

I have been a tutor for nearly 3 years, working with students of all backgrounds and abilities. I have always had a passion for teaching and enjoy helping students overcome challenges in understanding complex concepts. My goal as a tutor is to provide the extra support that motivated learners need to reach their full potential. I like to start each session by asking the student what they would like to focus on for that lesson. When a student is unsure about a concept, I ask them to explain it to me in their own words, which allows me to single out areas of confusion. I also introduce effective study strategies to help them tackle the material more confidently. At the end of the lesson, I ask if there are specific topics they'd like to work on in the next session, so I can prepare relevant practice materials in advance.
