It's important to know your students before designing lessons for them. I struggled in my early years studying computer science because my tutors were more focused on covering topics than helping me understand what the topics could help me achieve. I'll keep an open mind and try to personalise my sessions around my students' interests and make sure that they aren't just learning but that they are having fun.
