I give private lessons tailored to your learning needs. I specialise in the Scottish education system but can also teach AQA and OCR exam boards. My specialties are literature, poetry, creative writing and Shakespeare.

I've been a tutor for nearly a year and have recently graduated with a first class Bachelors degree in Drama. My lessons are friendly and relaxed but engaging, focussing on helping each individual student reach their goals and gain confidence in English or Drama. I specialise in the Scottish education system however I'm also able to help students in the English system. I've won many prizes for my writing and have had pieces published in publications like The Guardian, so I'm more than qualified to help your child reach their writing potential. I'm also an avid reader and confident teaching texts from poetry to Shakespeare to novels. I can tailor my lessons to each child's requirements and I'm confident teaching students from primary school through to A-Level. I will create personalised content based on what your child wants to improve on specifically and will aim to expand their skills and improve their confidence across the board.
