I'm a photographer based in the North West of England and my work investigates our common experiences as people, exploring themes like nostalgia and distance. For the last five years I have taught photography, design and publishing at a college in Manchester, England.
I also run an independent photography publishing label titled 0.08 Imprints which I established with the intent of helping emerging photographers work reach wider audiences.
I'm a fully qualified, full time photography teacher and I've been involved in Photography since completing my degree in the subject in 2012.
I work to create a comfortable, purposeful environment with my approach to lessons encourages students to consider photography theoretically, critically and practically. I am qualified to teach 16+ with a particular emphasis on A-Level and Degree qualifications but I will also consider students who at GCSE level. I am currently a research assistant on a PhD project and I also offer dissertation review/consultations. I also have several years experience running adult classes with no formal qualifications involved.
