Enthusiastic Full Time Specialist Tutor in The Sciences

I have over 5 years of full-time experience (over 1000 tuition hours delivered both online & face to face) providing Specialist Professional Tuition in the Science subjects, developing a successful tuition business over this period with 100% A* to C pass rates. My lessons are very dynamic, tailored to meet the educational needs and preferences of each individual student. This ensures that students find my sessions engaging, whilst also creating a positive learning environment where students can increase their confidence in applying their knowledge to a range of different exam based scenarios in their chosen subject. By creating this environment, students are provided with every resource necessary to optimise their performance and fulfil their full academic potential, whilst also receiving extensive advice on exam technique and performing under pressure from myself. Sessions will be differentiated to ensure that students are challenged across the entire syllabus for their chosen subject, preparing them in readiness for mock exams with a view to ensuring peak academic performance around exam finals. I ensure this by providing detailed feedback on targeted exam based exercises that we will complete together, modelling effective exam technique strategies in live tutorials (to highlight the key thought processes behind securing marks in the subject) and by building confidence through conducting regular revision sessions to highlight any areas of further development across the entire course syllabus. As previously illustrated, the session format will very much depend on the nature of the student, as some people like to learn through completing multiple exam questions and receiving feedback throughout the session. Other students prefer a more interactive style where a topic is covered with them, followed by a Q & A discussion to ensure their understanding, along with a couple of exam questions to consolidate the knowledge base in this area. I am flexible to the needs of each individual student that I work with, and as a result the format depends on the individual.
