Creative-writing coaching from a widely-published poet, scriptwriter and fiction writer

Advert description
I am a working writer, who has been published widely, and won competitions including the New North Poets Prize at the Northern Writers' Awards.
My writing has been published in journals including Antiphon, Confingo, Lighthouse, Magma, Popshot, and Under the Radar, and I have worked with Manchester Literature Festival, Manchester Pride, The Portico Library, Islington Mill, Oldham Coliseum Theatre, and Yorkshire Dance.
I love tutoring and running workshops, and watching students / participants find their voice and grow in confidence. Lessons will be based around you and what you want to achieve, whether you would like feedback on some poems, or inspiration to create something new.

Elizabeth helped me when I was preparing for workshops in English. She is a very good listener and can identify what helps you most, depending on your own level of fluency. We have worked together both virtually via a web conference system and in person in Manchester.

Liz is a very patient tutor with very structured lessons. She gives explanations to questions and ensures understanding. She is very positive and encouraging and gives prompts when I struggle with anything. Also has given helpful memory aids. We complete exercises and homework to practice what has been learned. Very happy to recommend her.
