Hi all, I’m offering private tuition to students from age 8+. I have worked in education for 10 years, most recently as Head of Year, and have tutored privately from KS2 to A Level for 6 years. I am highly experienced in supporting students with moderate learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD, cerebral palsy and social/emotional needs. I have a BA Hons in Musical Theatre and an MSc in Psychology, as well as a bank of CPD training in order to assist students in all aspects of education. I have complete understanding of the core curriculum for GCSE and have supported multiple students throughout their studies with most achieving at least 1 grade higher than predicted. I have experience of classroom teaching in a primary school setting (Year 1 & 2) and have worked as a personal assistant for children with disabilities, supporting their education in a home setting. I provide a calm and neutral space for students to learn in Manchester City Centre which is easy to get to by car or public transport, can deliver online sessions or can travel to your home if more suitable. I have chosen not to pursue a qualified teacher status as my passion lies in supporting those who struggle more across the board - rather than teaching full classes of one subject, meaning I have much more experience of the school curriculum in it's entirety.
