I am an accounting tutor and I can teach accounting subject at pre-varsity, varsity, and professional levels

I am a Chartered Accountant with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting. I have over 8 years of experience teaching accounting subjects at High School, Pre-Varsity (Diploma and A-Levels), and University Levels. I possess the pedagogical skill to communicate and simplify complex accounting concepts, standards, and conventions.

In the past seven years, I have had the opportunity to teach accounting courses at the University level and prepare students for technical (AAT) and professional examinations (ACA). My students pass rate ranges between 80 – 85 percent in every diet I have taught and prepared them for such exams. Courses I have taught include Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Cost and Management Accounting, auditing, business policy and strategy, ethics, and taxation.

As a testament to my competency, I have taught students who have become chartered accountants themselves, and some are currently working in top accounting firms such as the Big 4 and some other top-ranking organizations.

I am particularly skillful in teaching accounting topics from basics to complex such that anyone new to the subject can comprehend the concept being taught and have a retention of it for lifetime. As an accounting lecturer, I can use relatable scenarios to explain accounting concepts and make seemingly difficult topics easy to understand for any student. This attribute of mine made the students that I thought voted me as the best lecturer in accounting during my days at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.

In addition to my teaching skills, I have a well-grounded knowledge of extant accounting standards such as the international financial reporting standards (IFRSs), international accounting standards (IASs), international auditing standards (ISAs) and international public sector accounting standards (IPSASs).
Furthermore, I can use various accounting software such as, SAGE 50 Accounts and Xero Accounting.

I am confident that students will find my teaching prowess useful and beneficial towards their journey in becoming a qualified accountant.
