Experienced with using, PowerPoint, Microsoft teams, zoom etc. Interactive teaching style, through worked examples and several questions during the session. Also past paper questions are a great way to be familiarised with exam format. Chemistry GCSE and A-level requires visual understanding through diagrams of nomenclature and processes, so the use of a whiteboard (in person or online) is particularly useful. The first part of the lesson will cover learning objectives as well as an initial example to give the student an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge. The main part of the session wi cover content which will be condensed into a digestible format for learning. The latter part of the session will be left for any questions the student may have, as well as past paper examples to take away with them to either finish during the lesson or completed later. I will attempt to keep the attention of the student as I understand it’s difficult to concentrate for a long person of time (especially remotely). I received an A in A level chemistry in 2022, and a 9 in GCSE in 2020, I thoroughly enjoyed the course although i was taught during lockdown so most of the lessons were remote, particularly Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. I am able to teach online, at my home in Cheadle, Manchester or at the students home. I have all the relevant materials as well as handwritten notes from my time at school that i am able to give to the students to aid their learning.
