Private lessons, personalised to suit the individual child’s needs. They will be adapted as we go, depending on confidence levels and more importantly be appropriate to where the child is at right now. I will use a range of techniques to help support the child in question such as visuals, auditory revision ( songs) and concrete resources e.g clocks, cubes, blocks etc. I feel passionately that tutoring really helps boost children’s confidence and gives them the space and time to process new concepts. Classrooms are busy places and this is where some children can get left behind and need more time and patience to go through concepts again. This is where tutoring is great. It also empowers parents to know what is being taught and how they can further support.
