Creative pedagogical practice, critical theory and visual culture. I have a PhD in Mid Century British Abstract Art. Interests include feminist theory, politics of place and contemporary cultural contexts. What does art tell is about who we are and how does it work in the discursive world of identity. Cross disciplinary thinking and philosophies of materiality inform my approach alongside a reflexive look at how art history shapes the stories we tell about artists and ourselves.
