I would describe myself as a motivated individual who likes to share my best practices to help develop the knowledge of others.

I have one-to-one teachings where I first gain the trust of my student. This involves finding a common interest between my student and myself where we can relate on and talk about (non-academic topics example the football team they support). Once I have made the student comfortable with myself and broken the awkward barrier between a student and teacher, I explore different methods of teaching to see which suits them best and tailor it accordingly. Some prefer presentations, some like videos and some like teaching on a blank whiteboard and write as I explain with diagrams. Everyone has different learning strategies therefore I will ensure I personalise it to their best way. This way they will learn better and to test understanding we will always look at exam questions so the exam skills are always practised as we go rather at the end.
