I would describe myself as good at seeing problems from the student's perspective and having the patience to stick with a difficult challenge. I enjoy working with both young children, and older students.

I will teach by first assessing the student's skills and difficulties. I would then focus on the student's difficulties by working step by step on a practice problem with them, and slowly transition to them doing more and more of it by themselves until the topic is mastered.
