I am a very experienced HE lecturer. Between 2003 and December 2022 I taught at Roehampton University, where I was a Reader in the Film programme, teaching across a range of film production modules, with a particular emphasis in documentary filmmaking, as well as in new/innovative ways of telling stories through images. I also taught on the MA in Scriptwriting and supervised practice-as-research PhDs. From January 2023 I am a Senior Honorary Research Fellow at Roehampton university. My main area of teaching is Film Studies but have taught Italian privately in the past. As a storyteller words and communications tools are very important, so my classes will not only be rigorous (I am educated at PhD level and can teach both Italian grammar and syntax), but also engage in thought provoking as well as fun conversations.
I will be interested in combining my free-lance work and teaching in filmmaking/Film Studies with remote part-time/Online work as Italian Tutor. I live in London, so happy to do some initial classes in presence if students prefer, however my main mode of delivery would be online. I also speak Spanish and French, so happy to teach Italian to these speakers as well.
