I like to understand how different students learn and how I can build off from their preferred learning styles. From there, I like to provide different examples and scenarios. As I teach a lesson, I like to take pauses and ask if students understand the topic or if they have any questions. I also like to challenge the students' grasp of a concept. When I ask them a question and they provide a response to me, I like to ask them what made them come to that answer. For example, I'll ask "why did you say that the derivative of that constant is 0" or "why do you think the Phytagorean Theorem is similar to the distance formula?"
