Tutor from Beginner to Advanced

I have always enjoyed the field of education. For 35 years I was a teacher
of high school students in several disciplines: English, German, SAT and
Spanish. I have worked at Andover High School, Andover, MA and at
Melrose High School, Melrose, MA.
Those were my official positions with public education. Since my
retirement from teaching, I have found a wonderful connection to education
in tutoring. Students of all ages and who have many different needs and
goals remain my private students for many years. It is gratifying to discover
what they are already good at in the desired subject, what they can learn in
that subject and how I will go about designing lessons to fit an individual.
In addition to private tutoring I would like to proctor exams in my area. I
look forward to helping with any type of exam in any kind of institution. Just
being around students who wish to move ahead with their education is an
exciting thing to me.
