The way I see it, it's essential to accurately level students and clarify any questions from the outset. My methodology has a 'Festina Lente' approach, which means I drive my student to make steady and small progress every day. A solid grammatical foundation is crucial for consistent learning; the great thing about English is how accessible it is, in that regard! Due to my professional background I'm motivated to focus on my student's verbal communication skills (speaking, e.g. pronunciation, pace, etc.) and vocabulary absorption. However, I ALWAYS make sure to tailor my approach to each student's individual needs, whether they are refining reading skills or sharpening listening comprehension.
