My teaching specialisation lies in the Arts and Humanities. To fully appreciate the complexities and intricacies of such topics, I recommend that my students go beyond the textbook and explore texts by other academics, newspapers, films, art, etc. With this approach, it is a lot easier to develop an interest in the subjects and hence a greater intellectual understanding of them. Furthermore, to ensure my student's improvement, I encourage them to regularly revise the content and practice the required exam techniques (i.e. essays, short prose etc.)
