I am an artist specialising in expanded painting and currently a student at the Royal College of Art in London. I hold a degree in English Creative Writing from the University of Colorado-Boulder and a Graduate Diploma in Art and Design from the Royal College of Art. During my studies, I developed strong skills in portfolio creation and art writing, including grant and project proposals, statements of intent, research writing, academic essays, and artist statements. Having been accepted into the world's top-rated art school, I have a proven track record in these areas.

In addition to my artistic endeavours, I have over 10 years of experience in education, serving as a professor in higher education and as Head of Global Education in a corporate setting. These roles have equipped me with the skills to communicate complex topics effectively and ensure long-term learning outcomes.

After successful entry into art residencies and top postgraduate programs, I feel I could contribute significantly by providing structured feedback on portfolios and offering expertise in art writing. Specifically, I can guide students on using design grids, writing and formatting text, adding footnotes for academic applications, and obtaining quality photographs for their portfolios. These are aspects I found lacking in sessions I'd booked in the past with other tutors, and I am eager to share my knowledge in these areas.
