I have been working with Ras for over 5 years supporting our Career Ready students build their employability skills. Ras has always been passionate about her mentoring role at BDC and she goes above and beyond her role as a mentor where she provides support, advise and guidance to her mentees. However, Ras does not stop there, she is always willing to engage with the college and offer her help to deliver Masterclasses from many different topics which motivate and inspired our learners. After the delivery of one of her masterclasses named, “Success at Interviews”, one of the students said, “Sir, I will never forget what Ras taught us today, it’s not who you know, it’s who knows you”. Ras has also participated in workshops and offered her support to conduct mock interviews with students and this has also been successful as all her students have secured internships. Finally, I would like to say Ras is one of our best mentors and we cannot thank her enough for her great support.
