I have an advanced degree in bilingual education and several years of experience teaching both Spanish and ESL both to adults and in High School.

I have a record of successfully supporting students who needed to pass standardised tests.

Although I personally believe it is best to opt for less controlled teaching contexts when that is possible - when the ultimate goal is not to pass a test, but to actually improve students' language proficiency. My preference in those cases is to have real communicative lessons, where conversation is stimulated with prompts suitable for the student's level and specific teaching points arise during that conversation.
