Advert description
I hold a BA in Politics, with a focus in Climate Change Policy. In additional, I recently completed a MSc in Global Development and Environment at the University of Bristol. For my masters, I produced my own international research project exploring the impacts of textile waste in Accra, Ghana's landscape and intersection of poverty and informal work. If you are looking for someone to inspire your child in terms of their career, as well as a very practical based form of teaching to hone in concepts, i am well suited for that position.
In my undergraduate studies, I taught at a local primary school media literacy as part of my universities volunteer programmes
In my role as Community Project intern at a small CSR charity, I produced mental health sessions that was taught to students in 8 schools across Islington covering primary and secondary school as well as sixth form. This involved breaking down concepts, relating it to real life experiences and the inclusion of activities.
As a sustainability coordinator, I was front line support for Julie's Bicycle sustainability reporting programme. So i provided individualised support to arts and culture professionals, presented and produced webinars.
In my business, as an off shoot of my research in Accra, Ghana, I producing a teaching programme to teach students the foundations of interdisciplinary thinking, qualitatitive methods and design thinking to gear students towards careers in environmental sustainability and social impact and empower them to change makers. I am passionate about teaching the younger generation as they are key part of creating a better world.
