Advert description
I have a Bachelors Degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences as well as a Master of Science degree in Immunology. I’ve completed a number of classes that are key to the understanding of fundamental mammalian and plant biology as well as more complex classes involving bacteria, human disease, biological defence systems and drug and therapy design. In brief these modules included (but not limited to); cellular biology, proteomics, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology, bioinformatics, ecology, tumour biology, neuromuscular biology, human nutrition and metabolic disease, antibiotic action and resistance as well as advanced immunology and immunotherapeutics. With this wealth of knowledge I believe I can assist and tutor students from the lowest Secondary school classes up to and including University level students.
I have previous experience in mentoring and teaching others in my current research position. I have mentored Secondary school students and junior colleagues alike teaching practical and theoretical biology so that they may understand and replicate the work I do. I am also responsible for training apprentices at Paddle Sports Ireland (a watercraft repair company) and often teach new skills as well as provide knowledge and expertise to younger colleagues.
I am a highly self-motivated and enthusiastic individual and I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with others!
Get in contact to organise a time and material that you would like to cover and please include any upcoming exams, quizzes or assignments that are important to you or that you may be worried about and we can work towards a successful goal!
Please book a lesson with me to enjoy learning science and avoid Science exam woes!
Cheers!
