When tutoring someone in English online, my first step is to assess the student's current proficiency and understand their goals. I begin with an initial assessment that includes both written and oral tests to gauge their level. Based on this, I work with the student to set clear, achievable goals, whether they aim to improve conversational skills, prepare for an exam, or enhance their writing. I then create a structured plan tailored to their needs. This plan includes a balanced mix of grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises. Each lesson is carefully planned to ensure it is both effective and engaging. To make our sessions interactive, I use video conferencing tools like Zoom or Google Meet for face-to-face interaction. We collaborate in real-time using Google Docs for writing and editing exercises, and I use digital whiteboards to explain concepts clearly. My aim is not just in teaching you English, its teaching you to be confident in your own ability.
