Ready to gain fluency in French? I am here to help

Hello, I’m an Oxford-educated French and Spanish tutor with 3 years + teaching experience under my belt. I have mostly taught secondary school students helping with GCSE and A-Level preparation, as well as University entry requirements and examinations, with particular focus on Oxbridge. However I am available for students of all ages and at any level with their languages.

My goal is to help you grow in confidence in both your speaking and writing French and/or Spanish, and am very flexible when it comes to tailoring lessons to suit your specific needs. I am patient, calm, and friendly, and will honour the pace at which you want to go as a student, while making sure that each lesson leaves you feeling improved and one step closer to the level you wish to reach.

I use a number of written resources and exercises, as well as encourage face to face spoken discussion and conversation, knowing all too well that the best way to improve your language is by speaking it ! Having lived in both France, Spain and South America, I also have a strong knowledge of the cultures that sit behind these languages, and focus my teaching resources across a wide range of different subject areas, as this also serves to increase the variety and breadth of vocabulary learnt. If you are particularly interested in a certain topic, I am more than happy to focus my lessons on that.
