My teaching method is to make the subject matter more practical. With my experience of teaching back from high school times, I endeavor to demystify complex principle for better understanding. My teaching style is more interactive, and I allow students to raise express their views on subject matter. There is no way I can teach effectively and make my students understand without allowing them to ask questions. I always encourage students to ask as many questions a possible to get an gauge their respective understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, I always tell students that there is no stupid questions, so that students to hesitate to ask questions. To assess whether students understand, I would ask the students questions without making feel less of themselves. Where I see students fear to ask questions, I always divide the class into groups for them to debate on the subject matter. This culminate the spirit of competitiveness and enhance their verbal articulation. I prepare my teaching notes in form of slides, which slides ask questions as well. I developed love for teaching others when we lost accounting teacher in the final grade of high school (matric in South Africa) whereof, I taught accounting to my fellow classmates, and the class attained 95% pass rate without appointed accounting teacher. Additionally, I love teaching complex subject because I am able to simplify complicated material. In varsity, I informally taught my students who were below me in years, especially when it comes to exam preparation and writing assignments.
