Qualified Accountant from Ireland with 3.5 years experience

I completed by undergraduate degree in Business Studies specialising in accounting and finance for four years. Once I completed by undergraduate degree I worked in PwC for 2 and a half years to complete my professional accounting exams with Chartered Accountants Ireland upon my first attempt. I then completed the remaining of my training in industry working across various clients. I have often studied in group situations in university helping my fellow classmates with difficult accounting standards they might not have understood. I am proficient in IFRS standards which are also applicable in the UK. Also in university I hosted accounting tutor sessions with students completing their Leaving Cert (A levels in the UK). As part of my final year in university we had to host sessions on various IFRS accounting standards to ensure we fully understood the standard and also to ensure our ability to explain this to fellow students. Following on from college I began studying for my professional accounting exams with PwC audit firm.
I can tailor my accounting sessions to facilitate whatever you may need. I have great communication skills and I am willing to assist in any way that I can. If this is your first experience with accounting I can start with learning the basics for example of debits and credits all the way to creating a set of financial statements for the first time. We can also cover subjects like Corporate Finance and management accounting alongside financial accounting.
