This will be my first time tutoring professionally, but rest assured I will devote my time and effort to refine your understanding of the subject. My main aim is to help you understand your topic from a lay person's perspective as I have found this method helps me store and recall content more efficiently.

Before our first lesson, I will request for us to chat through message about the psychology topics you need assistance with and what you are expecting from me as your tutor. This will enable me to properly understand and prepare for our lesson ahead of time.

My teaching style may depend on the specific content you need assistance with. For example, if you require assistance understanding psychological theories, I may create PowerPoints to teach it to you and then have you answer some questions in the end to check your understanding. Or if you need assistance with case studies, I will make it my task to summarize this on a page for you to easily study.

I also plan to make a study sheet with all the key things you need to remember on your topics. This will be for you to keep and review outside of our lessons.

Ultimately, I will not only be your tutor, but your friend who will be available for you to reach out to whenever you need help with psychology!
