I defended my doctoral thesis (Cum Laude June 2024) on ‘Consumer Protection in the Collaborative Economy Platforms- A Comparative Analysis of the European Union and India’. In my dissertation, I used a comparative research methodology to delve into consumer, data and digital laws in digital regulation in the EU and India to highlight consumer issues in business-to-consumer and peer-to-peer transactions and provided potential solutions to address such issues in the unique sharing platform economy.
I have a double degree in Business Administration and Law and a Masters in Corporate and Commercial Laws from India. My second masters is a Master of Corporate Law from the University of Cambridge. This interdisciplinary education provided me with the basis for interpreting information through various lenses, including business administration, management, and governance.

My passion for teaching and mentoring students has been a driving force throughout my academic career. I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of courses, including tort law, contract law, property law, research methodology, comparative law and comparative corporate law, where I engage students in critical discussions on the intricate connections between law, ethics, and society. I have also taken inspiration from various narrative theories and storytelling strategies to encourage the inquisitive minds of students. I am dedicated to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to think critically, develop their analytical skills, and explore complex legal concepts. I believe my experience as a comparative legal scholar, combined with my dedication to teaching and research, makes me a strong candidate for this position.
