The decision to become an actor is one of the most exciting choices that you can make as a creative person - However, acting is one of the hardest things to do well.

My name is Michael Seales – After formally training at one of the world’s most prestigious drama schools and obtaining my master’s degree, I now offer professional training for new actors who wish to be guided with any kind of upcoming performance work that they may need assistance with.


About Me:

First-Class Bachelor’s Degree: The Academy of Contemporary Music.
Master’s Degree: Rose Bruford drama school.
Industry: Multiple credits in TV / Film / Stage that range from Sky TV to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.


What I have to offer:

Student / New Actor Monologue work: Getting accepted for an audition at one of the top drama schools is an incredibly difficult task, but what's even harder is the stage of obtaining an offer to become a student at one of these schools! Drama schools are famously known for having some of the lowest acceptance rates for their students, and if you are auditioning for one of the top schools then you will have to accept that some elements are going to be out of your control. However, something you are in control of is the amount of training and guidance that you can receive prior to your audition. As somebody who has graduated from one of the most prestigious drama schools in the world I will be able to offer key one-on-one work with each student to ensure that they understand what is needed and required of them to optimise the greatest level of success.

This can include work such as:

• Most importantly - Individual text analysis and script work / Character development and understanding.
• Famous acting techniques and training - (Stanislavski / Chekov / Meisner).
• Physical performance techniques – (Breathing / Voice / Posture / Nerves)

These key points are taught so that each student feels as prepared as possible going into the audition that could change their lives forever…

In these lessons the student will bring the script that they require assistance with and we will work and rework it again and again until they gained an understanding of the art and have created a fully fleshed out character.
