Portuguese (European/ Continental) as foreign language - adults

I was born and raised in Porto, the second largest city in Portugal, but have lived in Italy and France.
I started teaching in 2007, as a Lecturer of Portuguese in France, and later at the University of Porto. I have since taught all kinds of classes, at all levels, including in corporate environments and to military personnel. I also spent 8 years as a volunteer teaching Portuguese to migrants relocating to Porto. This was an enriching experience, allowing me to work with people from very diverse backgrounds all over the world.
I have a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
I believe that everyone, at any age, can learn a language. I adapt and customize my classes to fit the rythm and style of each student.
