Advert description
Whilst politics can often be dense, terminological and intimidating for outsiders, a thorough understanding of the subject during adolescent/young adult years provides us with the tools to become well-rounded, analytical and insightful citizens capable of great good in the world.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from King's College London, and a Master of Science degree in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam (First Class Honours), I have committed the formative years of my life to comprehensively understanding an opaque world and thrive when given the opportunity to exchange this passion with others.
I have taught political enrichment classes to children as young as twelve, introducing them to expansive concepts in a manner that is both digestible and enjoyable. I have also guided students individually through coursework and projects. In my spare time, when not caught with a weighty piece of political and historical non-fiction, I can be found writing about current affairs and British politics across a range of online publications, from the Fabian Society in the U.K. (one of the world's oldest think tanks) to internationally-minded websites in the United States.
I seek to create warm and friendly environments within which students have the freedom to make mistakes, critically evaluate their errors and develop the confidence to apply the knowledge they have learned across a range of connected topics. I believe that durable skills are formed when students feel both happy and challenged. Tutoring sessions should not feel like an extension of the classroom; they should be a personable space within which a student's specific needs are catered for.
Deliver a challenge with a smile and watch how students flourish. With my support, we will build a detailed educative plan tailored to your requirements so that you/your child can reach those desired goals with pride and confidence.
