Piano tutor. ABRSM Grade 5 qualification + 10 years self-taught experience.

My passion for music and piano drives me to share my skills through one-on-one tutoring, fostering a love for piano in each student. I am 17 years old, turning 18 this summer and have had 10 years of experience in piano, making music a big part of my life. I have acquired a Grade 4 qualification both in ABRSM Piano, and music theory and I also have a Grade 9 in GCSE Music. I have experience teaching younger students in a school setting, where I have helped their musical skills and improved their confidence. Due to covid, my music lessons were interrupted- but that didn’t stop me from teaching myself. From then on, I have developed skills that are strong enough to teach others. I have also had experience doing one-to-one tutoring, teaching students from Year 7 to Year 11. Moreover, I have had work experience in Hurlingham Nursery, where I’ve gained knowledge of children’s behaviour, and have observed how to teach them. I am confident that I am a suitable candidate to tutor piano, and I will do so passionately and kindly.
