Physics Tutor: IGCSE: A-Levels: IB Diploma Programme

PHYSICS
I have 15 years of experience teaching Physics at IGCSE, IB Diploma Programme and A Levels. I have created a bespoke set of booklets tailored to both the A Level and IBDP Physics curriculums.

Over the past 10 years I have supervised over 10 Physics Extended Essays, with all students achieving A or B grades. I can offer Physics internal assessment coaching and advice. I like build up tutor questions from basic knowledge checks to rigorous scenarios that in some cases go beyond the IBDP or A Level curriculum.

Many years of experience helping students achieve excellent results in their IBDP and A Level Physics I has taught me to common misconceptions to avoid and the core understandings that are essential for exam success.

We will begin with ensuring you build a solid conceptual framework of Physics principles, followed by fine tuning that knowledge to deconstruct and solve examination style questions.

I will not only ask you questions, I will teach you the questions you need to ask yourself in order to check your methodology is correct. With a set of basic principles I will teach how to identify those sneaky questions that cause your peers to make mistakes, whereas you will know what to look out for!


THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE
I am also able to coach students in the Theory of Knowledge Exhibition and Essay. I completed IBO's accredited TOK Essay training, which enables me to accurately provide feedback on the TOK essay. You will learn how to base your writing around real life examples linked to knowledge issues in the real world. The deepest level of TOK is to analyse the implications of your discuss, I will help you deconstruct and understand the higher order thinking required to achieve this.


CAREER
For the past 5 years I have worked as a digital author and lead reviewer for the Kognity Digital Publishing platform, a highly regarded online learning tool.

As a member of the academic leadership team in several top tier international schools I have in in depth understanding of the IBDP and the curriculum requirements.
