Advert description
I am a passionate Philosophy Masters student at Queen’s University Belfast with a keen interest in philosophy of mind, apophatic theology, consciousness and philosophy of addiction. I have experience in facilitating philosophy in primary schools through the Philosophy for Children (P4C) scheme at Queen's University Belfast, I have also organised educational days for secondary school students, and I have created Philosophy Reading Groups for Undergraduate and Postgraduates at Queen's University Belfast. I am currently part of the British Postgraduate Philosophy Association Executive Committee as this years Events Coordinator. In 2024 I received a Philosophical Dissertation Prize for my undergraduate research “Kindred Spirits: A Comparative Analysis of the Similarities between Anton Wilhelm Amo and Plotinus Through the Sensitive Soul and Principle of Life in the Spirit-Soul-Body Relationship”.
My lessons will be highly tailored to your educational needs. We will have online tutoring sessions together to discuss all your philosophical problems, ideas, and work. Tutoring sessions will be suited around your needs as a student - finding your educational and study style is key to success and I will assist you through that process. My lessons are centred around providing clear feedback, implementation of personalised study techniques and development of philosophical skills. I have specialisations in Philosophy of Mind, Apophatic Theology, Consciousness and History of Philosophy, however I am competent in Moral Theory, Ethics, Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Science and Political Philosophy. Through this I would be able to tutor children and secondary school students, and I would be able to assist undergraduates on their studies.
