Advert description
I am Dr. Ferdin Don Bosco and I hold a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. I am a scientist by profession and have published many research articles dealing with many interesting and complex phenomena. I have also guided various PhD, Master’s and college students to understand, plan and complete their courses.
To do what I do, requires a fundamental understanding and mastery of physics and mathematics, which I intend to utilize to help students who find science challenging.
My approach to teaching Mathematics and Physics is to break down complex concepts into simpler parts, provide clear explanations, and offer step-by-step guidance on problem-solving techniques. I can help students understand the underlying principles behind mathematical and physical concepts, and guide them through the process of applying these principles to solve problems.
Whether you need help with basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, or any other branch of mathematics, I can provide assistance tailored to your needs and learning style. Additionally, I can also provide interactive exercises and quizzes to help reinforce your understanding of key concepts.
In my experience, concepts in physics are best appreciated when their origin, application and significance is understood. As an active researcher, who works with thermodynamics, electromagnetism and kinematics on a regular basis, I can provide interactive simulations and experiments to help reinforce your understanding of these key concepts.
My capabilities also include programming as I have developed my own solvers for many complex scientific simulations such as space shuttle re-entry, reactor design and porous transport. I am confident that I can guide interested students in their programming journey in C++ and FORTRAN 90, starting at absolute beginner level content and working up to advanced level techniques.
