Passionate, Confident and Experienced Tutor of English

I have a Cambridge Pre-U Distinction in English Literature (equivalent to an A* at A-level) as well as over a years' vocational training and experience in teaching English to Year 7s and 8s at a secondary school. I truly am passionate about teaching English, drawing on books and wider ideas to motivate students and to build true enthusiasm for English.

Moreover, I now have eight years of tutoring experience: I have worked with a range of students of different ages, backgrounds and abilities. I enjoy forming positive bonds with my students, and highly effectively motivating them. I have received very positive feedback about my teaching skills, and about students' ensuing love for English, and their academic progress.
