Hi, I am a fully qualified English language tutor based in the Republic of Ireland. I have 3 years of experience teaching both online and in the classroom, to both groups and one-to-one. I like a friendly approach to teaching which allows the student to be comfortable and confident, if there can be a bit of laughter that is even better.
I have a passion for language which allows me to deliver upbeat lessons that can cover anything from general conversation to Business English. I love to explore topics such as idioms and accents with my students as well as focusing my teaching on delivering lessons that meet the specific requirements of my students.
I love to travel and experience different cultures, I have lived in many parts of the world and visited many others. I greatly enjoy the food and drink of the worlds diverse cultures. I also have a keen interest in modern affairs, history, ecology and the environment, and like to use these as a topic basis for my lessons.
I have an undergraduate degree in teaching English As a Second Language, an undergraduate degree in Business English an advanced diploma in online teaching methodology.
