Online GCSE/ A level Maths Tutor - Easier and Definitely more fun than you think!

Advert description
Hi, I started tutoring GCSE Maths in 2015 and have been tutoring privately, in person as well as online ever since. I have a track record of helping students excel - my latest students (a bother and sister) both achieving grade 9 in their GCSE Maths exams.

I like to think that it's equally important for the student to feel comfortable and to be able to ask the tutor any questions they may have, as silly as they may be. As a result, besides delivering the knowledge to the students and helping them learn, it makes learning easier and more enjoyable for the students.

I would like to think that if you are to reach out to me, you would be willing to put in the hard work to turn their grades around. Whilst I could teach you the topic within 1/2 hours of tutoring a week, the winning combination includes practice and more practice on your behalf - something only you could do in your own time. This is what will allow you to gain confidence and go into tests without being afraid of not knowing the answers.

I am an advocate of weekly homework and tests. To learn Maths, you have to test yourself regularly on the topics until you no longer need any help and can answer all questions by yourself. I provide offline support - this means that you could reach out to be about any homework questions or other questions you may have and I will get back to you with guidance on how to answer it or a fully worked solution with explanation.

I like to use Teams for my lessons alongside my iPad and Apple pencil to teach the students instead of power points or word documents as other tutors may do. If you are considering a Maths tutor and want to achieve great results in year 10 and 11 - it would be great to hear from you.

Thanks,

Farhan

Farhan's lessons have been really engaging and I have received higher than expected grades in my year 10 results which I am really happy about. I really like his tutoring style and the fact that he explains solutions to the questions in a way which is really easy to understand and learn from. Highly recommend Farhan if you are hoping to work on your GCSE grades and trying to achieve the higher levels, i.e., 8 and 9 in Maths.

Farhan has been tutoring my son for over a month now, hoping he can help him get better grades in his final year of secondary school. I must say that I can already see an increase in confidence which I’m really happy about. Farhan does small tests at the start of lessons to keep a track of how my son is improving and seeing the results is really encouraging and motivating - both for me and my son.

Mr Farhan started tutoring me at the beginning of year 10 and at that point I was a grade 6. My parents got in touch with Mr Farhan. He is really good at explaining difficult topics and breaking it down to easy examples which I understood really well. By the end of year 10 I was achieving grade 8s mostly and knew I had the potential to get grade 9 in my GCSE Maths. He set me homework and loads of practice questions to do which helped getting used to the exam paper questions. I liked that when I was stuck, I could take a picture of the question with my working out and send it to him to check and he would tell me where I went wrong Overall, definitely recommend him as I got my grade 9 in Maths GCSE and he tutored me for those 2 years.
