Advert description
Hello! I am hoping to be able to help students in the subjects of Maths, Physics, English and Computer Science. I have tutoring experience before from volunteering work, and actively taught fellow students during my degree. I also have some experience tutoring those who are neurodivergent. I am quite flexible in my teaching, I myself find working through as many problems as possible the best way to learn but understand this isn't the same for everyone. As of such I would adapt to any student such that they can get the most from lessons. See below my qualifications:
I have just completed my Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Edinburgh where I should be receiving the top grade of First Class. With this, I am able to teach Physics at all levels, from GCSE/National 5 and below up to senior University Years.
Alongside this, I have an extremely advanced maths background and can easily teach this up to A-level, and certain topics at university level.
I achieved top grades (A*) in both my National 5 and Higher English and I am also qualified to tutor this, as throughout University I have had many essay focused topics and thus my literacy skills have only continued to improve.
Finally, I have an immense programming and computational skillset. I also received an A for these at high school level, and took many computational courses at university. I will be joining the computer science department at Imperial College London this fall to study a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence.
