As a Pharmacology master's student at King's College London with an upcoming PhD at the University of Manchester, with a strong background in mathematics and science, I have excelled in theory and practice, achieving good grades at A level. My interdisciplinary experiences, including internships at prestigious universities like Cambridge University, a recent role as a pharmacy dispenser, and work as a scientific author and editor, have refined my communication and management skills. These roles involved liaising with authors, editing and proofreading articles, and advising customers, which are directly relevant to tutoring. Over the past 2.5 years of tutoring both face-to-face and online, I have tailored my approach to meet each student's specific needs and goals, ensuring targeted learning and progress. I use interactive learning techniques, incorporating various teaching materials like visual aids and practical examples to make lessons engaging and relatable. I assess students' work, provide constructive feedback, and plan sessions strategically to cater to diverse learning styles, simplifying complex topics for younger learners to enhance their understanding and retention. Additionally, I offer lessons in the evenings and on weekends to accommodate students' busy schedules, with intensive crash courses available during holidays.
