Maths Tutor: Primary, GCSE, A-level (Further Maths included) looking to help you!

Hello! My name is Conor Ford-Robertson, and I am excited to offer my services as a math tutor. I am passionate about mathematics and dedicated to helping students understand and enjoy the subject. A student at Bristol University, I am studying Physics and Philosophy, having achieved ten grade 9 GCSEs followed by two A*s and two As at A-level. Having studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-level, I possess an exceptional mathematical intuition and am confident I can help your child to excel.

I take a variety of steps to ensure my students get the most from their lessons. Some of these include:

Personalisation: Assessing the areas of strength and weakness in the child’s understanding in order to maximise improvement and link together different ideas in a sensible order.

Interactive Problem-Solving: Lessons include a mix of theory and practice, with a strong emphasis on solving problems together. This approach helps students gain confidence and improve their problem-solving skills.

Engaging Activities: I try to incorporate different teaching tools, such as visual aids, real-life examples, and educational games.

Regular Assessments: Regular Assessments help to track progress and provide spaced repetition testing so that concepts are absorbed into longer-term memory.
