Advert description
As a 22-year-old tutor with 6 years of experience, I take a relatable, engaging, and effective approach to teaching maths from KS2 to GCSE. My lessons are designed to be comfortable yet highly productive, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.
My Background & Approach
I achieved Level 9s in Maths and Science at GCSE, an A^ in Further Maths GCSE, and A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at A-Level. I’ve since graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Theoretical Physics, meaning I have a deep understanding of maths and how to explain it in a clear, accessible way.
Over the past six years, I’ve built my student base entirely through word of mouth, a testament to my students’ progress and enjoyment of my lessons.
How I Teach
✅ A Comfortable but Productive Learning Space – Being closer in age to my students makes me more approachable, meaning they feel comfortable asking questions and learning without pressure. However, I also ensure they push their limits and get the most out of every session.
✅ Step-by-Step, Tailored Teaching – I break down difficult topics into simple, logical steps. Each lesson is personalized to the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring consistent progress.
✅ Interactive & Engaging Lessons – I don’t just lecture; I encourage students to think for themselves through problem-solving, discussions, and real-world applications of maths. This builds confidence and ensures a deep understanding of concepts.
✅ Exam-Focused Training – For GCSE students, I emphasize exam techniques, time management, and past paper practice to maximize grades and reduce exam stress.
Having been through the system myself recently and successfully, I know exactly what it takes to achieve top grades—and I make sure my students do too! 🚀
