Maths Tutor Teaches Students from Year 3 up to Year 13

Maths may seem like a tough subject at first. I know that was how I felt when I first started learning the subject. However, through the support of my own teachers and tutors over the past 10 years, I've learnt to grow a passion for it and thus decided to pursue it as a career. Currently, I am an undergraduate studying BSc Accounting & Finance, just having finished my first year passing with a 1st Class average this year (the highest rank attainable). My love for tutoring goes beyond it being just a job, I want to aid students to reach their full potential when it comes to Maths. I want to show students the deeper meaning behind this subject and how much more interesting it is when applied to real life concepts which are not typically introduced to them within school. I have experience teaching students from Year 3 up to Year 11 as I have been tutoring groups of students within a tuition centre. I attained a Grade 9 (equivalent to an A*) in GCSE Maths and also attained an A in A-Level Maths. I aim to make my lessons as interactive as possible because it has been a technique that has worked very well with past students. I aim to break down every problem and choose to teach my students through steps according to their pace of learning. Patience is a huge skill I've learnt through tutoring and always aim to make my students feel as comfortable as possible during lessons. At the end of each lesson, I will provide students with a mini test in order to recap on past topics. Homework will also be given out every week for them to consolidate their learning during their free time. I tend to follow each student's school learning plan so we learn topics that they are learning within school at present which gives them a great advantage within tests at school. I'm a kind and resilient tutor who is easily able to organise their lessons accordingly. My previous students have improved greatly within their tests and thoroughly enjoy my lessons.
